Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Billing Lead to manage and oversee the billing function, ensuring accurate, timely and efficient invoicing across complex contracts.
What Youll Do
- Lead the billing function, ensuring accurate and timely generation of invoices, credit notes, and contract billing adjustments.
- Interpret complex contract terms and translate into actionable billing processes.
- Manage and maintain billing workflows and systems, including automation or system enhancements.
- Support or mentor team members within the billing function, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Operations, and Finance, to resolve billing queries.
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounts receivable and billing data.
- Participate in audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with financial and internal control policies.
- Develop and maintain robust processes to minimise billing errors and optimise workflow efficiency.
What Youll Need
- Part-qualified or qualified by experience (e.g., ATI or similar).
- Significant experience in billing, handling complex invoices or contract billing.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven finance environment.
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues.
- Experience with automation or workflow/system improvements.
- Salesforce or similar CRM platform experience.
