Hayward Hawk is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's established and expanding accountancy practice. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships while supporting and developing junior staff.
What You'll Do:
- Preparation and review of year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Preparation of associated tax computations and returns
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships
- Training, mentoring, and reviewing work of junior team members
- Ensuring high standards of accuracy, compliance, and service delivery across all assignments
What You'll Need:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical grounding in accounts preparation
- Experience using cloud-based accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant IT systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
