Hayward Hawk is pleased to be working exclusively with a high-growth technology business, recently backed by Private Equity, to appoint a Management Accountant into a key role within the finance team. Working directly with the CFO, this position offers broad exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and a live ERP implementation, making it ideal for someone looking to step into a highly visible, commercially impactful role.
The Role
- Ownership of monthly management accounts, reporting, and board packs
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, including re-forecasts
- Cashflow forecasting, working capital analysis, and liquidity reporting
- Delivering meaningful variance analysis and commercial insight
- Playing a central role in the ERP implementation (process design, UAT, go-live)
- Improving financial controls, reporting quality, and scalable finance processes
- Partnering closely with senior management and PE stakeholders
The Person
- Qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- 2 years post qualification experience in a fast-growth, tech, or PE-backed environment
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
- Exposure to ERP implementation or finance systems change (highly advantageous)
- Commercial, proactive, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
