Hayward Hawk are proud to be recruiting for a Financial Controller reporting into senior finance leadership. You will be responsible for end-to-end financial controllership, working closely with global finance teams and key stakeholders. This is a full time permanent role working on a hybrid working model in Belfast.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full financial control and oversight of assigned legal entities
- Timely month-end close in line with group finance deadlines
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Completion of regulatory, capital and statutory returns
- Preparation of statutory accounts and coordination of audits
- Oversight of cash management, treasury and cashflow forecasting
- Liaising with global teams to ensure accurate invoicing, payments and payroll
- Providing financial information to boards
The Ideal Candidate:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
- Strong background in financial control and statutory reporting
- Experience working with auditors; audit background advantageous
- Solid working knowledge of IFRS
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
