Hayward Hawk is delighted to be partnering with a scaling private equity backed business to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role to reflect the company’s growth and is designed to support both the Financial Controller and CFO as the business continues to scale.
The Role
- Running the month-end close across a group of entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including: P&L reporting with clear commentary on key movements and variances
- Balance sheet reconciliations and review of reconciling items
- Ensuring accuracy across journals, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany postings
- Supporting the Financial Controller and CFO with dependable financial information and insight
- Helping improve finance processes and month-end efficiency as the business grows
- Supporting cashflow reporting and short-term forecasting
- Assisting with audit preparation and year-end processes
- Providing oversight and support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Assistant activity
- Being hands-on when required during busy periods
The Person
- Qualified Accountant, c 3 years post qualified experience in a fast paced, commercial environment
- Strong month-end and management accounting experience
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
