We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join a highly regulated organisation where reliability, security and compliance are critical. You will play a key role in designing, building and maintaining Azure-based platforms, enabling secure and automated delivery of applications and infrastructure. This role is well suited to someone who is comfortable working within governance frameworks, understands audit requirements, and can balance speed with control.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM)
- Support and improve cloud platforms across core Azure services (compute, networking, storage, identity)
- Ensure platforms meet security, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with engineering, security and governance teams
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to support operational resilience
- Contribute to documentation, standards and best practices
- Support audits and change management processes where required
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience as an Azure DevOps / Cloud Engineer
- Deep knowledge of Azure services, including:
- Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS
- Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers)
- Azure Storage and Azure SQL
- Azure AD / Entra ID and RBAC
Nice to Have
- Experience with AKS and containerised workloads
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS or similar frameworks
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, etc.)
