The firm is experiencing sustained growth, both organically and through acquisition, and is investing strategically in its leadership structure. The Role
  • Full leadership and operational control of the outsourcing/accounts function
  • Managing and developing a team of trainees and qualified staff
  • Overseeing delivery of management accounts, statutory accounts and outsourced finance services
  • Ensuring technical compliance and high-quality client output
  • Leading client relationships across a varied and high-quality portfolio
  • Acting as a strategic adviser to clients on commercial and financial matters
  • Supporting acquisition integration and onboarding of new client portfolios
  • Driving efficiency, process improvement and scalable systems within the function
  • Contributing to firm-wide strategy and succession planning
The Person
  • ACA / ACCA qualified
  • Strong background in accounts preparation and outsourced finance services in practice environment
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Commercially aware with the ability to advise clients beyond compliance
  • Comfortable managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients
  • Strong communicator with leadership presence
  • Ambitious and motivated by progression
  • Exposure to acquisition integration or practice growth initiatives would be advantageous.
