MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established and successful manufacturing business based in the South Wales area. This is a permanent days-based position offering a salary of £40,000 and a half day on Fridays, ideal for an engineer looking to move away from shifts while still enjoying a varied, hands-on engineering role.
The Role
Working as part of the engineering function, you will provide both electrical and mechanical maintenance support across a busy manufacturing facility.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment.
Respond to breakdowns and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
Fault find on motors, sensors, switches, contactors, relays and control systems.
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders and pumps.
Complete mechanical repairs involving bearings, motors, gearboxes and drive systems.
Maintain production machinery, presses and associated equipment.
Carry out electrical fault finding and component replacement.
Identify recurring equipment issues and implement improvements to increase reliability. xgikmsk
