The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Engineer to join an established and highly respected engineering team. This role will involve supporting customers with breakdown response, planned maintenance, commissioning activities and technical support across a variety of industrial environments.
The position would suit an engineer from a maintenance, service or automation background who enjoys fault finding, customer interaction and a varied workload.
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
- Flexible and supportive working environment
- Weekly on-call allowance: £
- Overtime paid at: Double time on Sundays
- One weekend in six as secondary support
- Daytime calls are managed by the office support team
- Overnight stays are extremely rare
- Responding to breakdown and service calls
- Carrying out planned maintenance activities
- Supporting existing customer accounts
- Undertaking field service work across customer sites
- Assisting with commissioning and improvement projects
- Producing service reports and documentation
- Supporting the continued growth of the service department
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND qualification in Electrical, Electronic or related Engineering discipline
- Previous experience within maintenance, service or automation environments
- PLC programming and fault-finding experience
- Knowledge of drives and industrial control systems
