Whitchurch | ?? £35,000 | ?? 12-Month Fixed Term Contract Urgent requirement - immediate interviews available I am recruiting a Transport Assistant to join a busy sales and logistics operation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, supporting the movement of products from production through to customer delivery while ensuring stock, transport and customer orders are managed efficiently. This position would suit someone with strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to coordinate with customers, transport providers and internal teams. What you'll be doing: Taking and processing customer orders Maintaining daily sales and transport plans Arranging deliveries using both in-house drivers and external hauliers Liaising with production, operations and warehouse teams Managing stock information and reporting Producing invoices and transport documentation Monitoring deliveries and resolving any supply issues Updating spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records What we're looking for: Strong administration and organisational skills Good Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment Previous logistics, transport, supply chain, planning or sales administration experience would be advantageous What's in it for you?
