This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well‑established business with a strong regional reputation.The RoleReporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility for the commercial and financial management of new‑build housing developments. You will oversee cost planning, procurement, valuations, and subcontract management, ensuring schemes are delivered within budget and to programme.Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial duties across multiple new-build housing projectsPrepare cost plans, BOQs, tender enquiries, and subcontract procurement packagesCarry out valuations, cost reporting, forecasting, and CVRsAssess and manage variations, compensation events, and contractual mattersWork closely with site teams to monitor progress, quality, and commercial performanceMaintain accurate records and produce monthly commercial reportsBuild and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and supply chain partnersSupport the wider commercial function with budgeting, estimating, and cost analysisAbout YouExperience as a Quantity Surveyor within housebuilding, residential development, or main contractingStrong commercial and contractual knowledge (JCT experience preferred)Confident in managing multiple packages from procurement through to final accountExcellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively with site teams, design teams, and key stakeholdersQualified to degree level in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)What’s on OfferSalary 45,000–60,000, depending on experienceSupportive and stable regional developer with a healthy pipelineOpportunity to take commercial ownership of schemes and progress within the businessInclusive and collaborative working cultureFull package including car/allowance and benefitsWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
