Year 5/6 Teacher. 6 week cover. Coventry
Your new company
Hays Education are pleased to be working with a friendly and welcoming school committed to preparing children to reach their full personal, academic and social potential in life. Based in Coventry, the school are looking for an excellent teacher to join them for 2 terms, full-time, starting from January as a maternity cover.
Your new role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the curriculum requirements for Year 5 and Year 6.
- Regularly assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Support students in their preparation for transitioning to secondary school, including preparing them for key assessments like SATs.
