Your new role:
- Teach a class of 33 children, as part of a 3 class year group.
- Work alongside 2 other Year 4 teachers to plan engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including Teaching Assistants working on a 2:1 basis with a child with an ECHP, to enhance the learning experience.
- Foster a love of learning and encourage independence and responsibility.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum, including Year 4 multiplication checks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and commitment to student development.
