This company has invested significantly in its infrastructure over the last few years and now has a world-class facility in Wrexham and new sites overseas.

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading a team to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant general accounting activities, ensuring effective financial control, high-quality reporting, and adherence to company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
The role also supports team development, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include
- Effectively lead, coach and develop a team of six – a mixture of Accounts Assistants to Management Accountants.
- Ensure internal and external reporting deadlines are achieved accurately, on time and to the required quality standards.• Financial records remain compliant with IFRS and applicable local accounting standards.• Monitor financial performance for multiple entities and profit centres.• Management Accounts Preparation and Reporting for multiple entities.
- Lead and coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion of ledgers and accurate preparation of management accounts.
- Oversee the preparation and posting of journal entries and ensure month-end activities are completed in line with the month-end calendar.
- Ensure balance sheet accounts reconciliations are prepared and approved.
- Present balance sheet positions at analytical review meetings with the Financial Controller, explaining key variances and identifying areas of concern.
- Manage short-term cash flow reporting.
- Coordinate budget and forecast submissions at balance sheet level, including trade working capital, tax, cash flow.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller and external auditors to support completion of the audit process and timely sign-off of financial statements.
