Hays Education work with over 65% of Wirral primary schools and is the only agency with two dedicated consultants servicing the Wirral area, due to the high demand for cover teachers from our schools.
We are currently working with schools on a daily basis across the Wirral, including in Wallasey, Birkenhead, Bebington, Bromborough, Eastham, Moreton, Hoylake, Heswall, West Kirby, to provide last minute and advance-booked supply teaching cover.
Your new role
We currently have an increasing demand for teaching supply cover from our partner schools and are looking for flexible and dedicated primary school teachers to join our team. You will be working in various schools across the Wirral, covering classes from EYFS to Year 6 appropriate to your experience, and work may also include PPA cover, intervention and booster-based work. Work available will include daily and short-term cover assignments, as well as longer-term positions. We can offer last-minute and advance-booked cover, and may be full or part-time depending on your availability.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and the school’s expectations, and may be required to plan and assess work depending on the role.
You will also be expected to follow the school’s policies and safeguarding procedures, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
