In your new role as Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of a small accounts function. This varied position includes:
- Ensuring the production of timely and accurate management accounts
- Maintaining strong financial controls
- Overseeing transactional processes across sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control
- Managing cash flow, bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, VAT returns, and supporting year-end processes
- Liaising with external auditors
- Monitoring customer credit risk and handling bad debt
- Ensuring compliance across the finance function
