This is a great opportunity for an experienced Recovery Coordinator or Recovery Worker with strong substance misuse experience to join a busy service and support people through their recovery journey.Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday hours per week)Dates: ASAP 3 months (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 3 months and potentially extended)Location: Widnes, CheshirePay Rate: £18/hr PAYE or £21 umbrellaYour new roleAs a Recovery Coordinator, you will deliver a range of evidence‑based interventions to support service users throughout their treatment journey. You will work collaboratively with clinical and safeguarding teams to ensure each individual receives a safe, holistic and person‑centred service.Key responsibilities:Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment and recovery journeyHelping to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm for service users and the widermunitySupporting service users with social reintegration, recovery, resilience and self-determinationPromoting involvement from service users, carers and the widermunityWorking in partnership with internal teams, external agencies and other professionalsProviding advocacy and supporting access to partnership services where requiredDelivering person-centred support in a safe, respectful and professional mannerTo be considered, you will need:Previous experience working in substance misuse servicesA good understanding of recovery planning, risk, safeguarding and harm reductionStrongmunication and engagement skillsConfidence working with service users withplex needsThe ability to work collaboratively with professionals, services and external partnersGood organisational skills and the ability to manage your caseload effectivelyApassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred approachPlease note:
