Your new company
You will be working for a well-established social housing contractor in the Widnes and Runcorn area on a long-term temporary contract. The role involves carrying out work across various social housing properties as part of their dedicated Fire Door team.
Your new role
- Install fire-rated door sets in accordance with current safety legislation and manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out routine maintenance, including adjustments, replacements, and minor repairs to ensure all fire doors remain fully compliant.
- Conduct thorough inspections of existing fire doors, documenting findings and identifying any remedial work required.
- Ensure all work meets required fire safety standards and internal quality procedures.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience installing and maintaining fire-rated doors (FD30 / FD60 desirable).
- Understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience in a social housing setting preferred.
