This role is responsible for VAT compliance oversight and indirect tax optimisation for the group's UK entities. There is also scope to advise on indirect tax-related projects in the UK and across Europe. You will be the subject-matter expert for VAT in the UK, partnering closely with the business and proactively dealing with queries.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong UK indirect tax exposure and compliance oversight gained either in industry or a major accountancy firm.
- Exposure to employment tax and plastic packaging tax would also be beneficial but not essential.
