A well-established and reputable architectural practice based in Lincolnshire is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. With a strong and varied pipeline of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, this is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role within a supportive, stable and growing practice.
Your New Role
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play a key part in overseeing and delivering projects from early concept through to completion. Working closely with directors and project leads, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the production of detailed technical drawings, construction packages and specifications
- Managing planning applications and building regulation submissions
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants and local authorities
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior team members
- Ensuring compliance with current UK building regulations, standards and best practice
- Overseeing project delivery across all relevant RIBA stages
- Reviewing and checking technical information produced by the wider team
- Supporting contract administration and site inspections where required
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Significant experience working within an architectural practice (typically 5+ years)
- Strong technical background with proven ability to deliver detailed design packages
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience highly advantageous
- Excellent understanding of UK building regulations and construction methodologies
- Strong coordination, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach to project delivery
