Weekend Dayshift Engineer

A leading Civil Engineering contractor based in Suffolk, but operating throughout the UK. They deliver high-quality civil engineering projects in various sectors including highways, bridges, infrastructure, flood defence, energy, and rail. Manage and monitor all site sample/performance testing requirements, maintaining records in line with contract specifications. Complete hazard/risk assessments and method statements. Assist the site QS/Project Manager by providing relevant information for records and claims purposes. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies, as well as company procedures. Extensive setting out experience on infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and earthworks. Proficiency with Leica/Geomax equipment and the ability to transfer information from AutoCAD to surveying equipment. Strong understanding of ITPs and the quality assurance process. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel throughout our Eastern region. Major Highways Experience Company Pension Scheme: We match up to 8%. Life Assurance Cover: 4x annual salary.
