A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for a Junior-Mid level Scrum Master to support an internal Agile transformation programme.
Based in Hatfield (Hybrid 2/3 days per week)

The Scrum Master will remove day‑to‑day impediments, encourage continuous improvement, and promote healthy team collaboration. To support delivery teams by facilitating Agile ceremonies, helping the team maintain focus, and ensuring steady progress toward sprint goals.
Scope & Context
- Working with one cross‑functional Scrum team.
- Supporting delivery of defined backlog items with limited cross‑team dependencies.
- Encouraging good Agile practices appropriate to the team’s maturity level.
Experience & Knowledge
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile team facilitator/enabler in an IT delivery environment.
- Working knowledge of Scrum and/or Kanban practices.
- Familiar with basic software delivery processes (requirements, development, testing).
- Comfortable using tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Teams, or Miro.
Core Skills & Behaviours
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Collaborative and supportive team‑focused mindset.
- Good problem‑solving skills and willingness to escalate issues appropriately.
- Ability to maintain team focus and encourage positive delivery habits.
Qualifications

Key Accountabilities
- Team Facilitation & Support
- Facilitate team ceremonies (Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Help the team maintain commitment to sprint goals and deliver planned work.
- Identify and remove day‑to‑day blockers affecting the team.
- Assist the Product Owner with maintaining a healthy and prioritised backlog.
- Support clear communication between the team and stakeholders.
- Ensure visibility of sprint progress, team capacity, and impediments.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Encourage feedback, experimentation, and small incremental changes.
- Support the team in applying good Agile practices (definition of ready/done, basic quality focus).
