Hays are looking for an experienced Independent Non-Medical Prescriber / NMP (Substance Misuse) to work in Hertfordshire. Working hours are part-time, 22.5 hours per week, set 3 days between Monday-Friday (days flexible). Working hours: 9am to 5pm. The contract is for 2 months but will be reviewed and potentially extended.
Pay rate £52 PAYE or £58 umbrella (no limited companies).
In your role you will:
- Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments.
- Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Current NMC registration.
- Previous experience in an NMP substance misuse role at a Drug Treatment service, Forensic, Prison or other similar background.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
You must have a valid full driving licence and access to a car for home visits and to attend meetings in Hatfield.
