Your new company Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Warwick to recruit a committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This position is to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year (July 2026).

You will be supporting a Key Stage 2 pupil on a one-to-one basis each morning, helping them to regulate emotions, engage with learning, and develop confidence within the classroom environment. Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team, you will contribute to tailored support strategies that promote both academic and personal growth.

Your new role

  • Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with SEMH needs
  • Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
  • Help adapt classroom activities to ensure accessibility and engagement
