Our client is a large, well-established and rapidly growing organisation with a strong presence in its sector. This business offers a supportive, collaborative environment with a strong focus on people. Offering hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, this is a full-time 37.5 hour working week, with on-site parking.

In this role, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the end-to-end, in-house payroll function for a growing workforce. They will be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with all relevant legislation and company policies and complex terms and conditions, processing payroll on a weekly and monthly basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll in an in-house environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including HMRC requirements and RTI submissions
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience using payroll systems such as Sage, ADP, Workday, or similar
  • Strong Excel and data handling skills
  • The ability to work effectively and proactively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
