In your new role as Accounts Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, reconciliations, and adjustments while ensuring accuracy and high-quality output. You will work closely with clients, handling queries, managing expectations, and supporting them in navigating their financial information. You will also play an active role in reviewing work produced by junior colleagues, contributing to process improvements, and supporting the wider accounts and advisory team in delivering an outstanding service. The position offers a balance of technical accounting work, client interaction, and opportunities to deepen your expertise within a forward-thinking practice.
As an Accounts Senior, you will take the lead in preparing client accounts to professional standards and ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales. The role involves overseeing and reviewing the work of junior colleagues, providing guidance where needed, and finalising accounts and tax calculations for senior review. You will maintain strong client relationships by managing queries, understanding client priorities, and adapting workflows to meet deadlines.
