Your new company

We have an interim opportunity for an experienced warehouse manager for a global business based in Norfolk. The contract is guaranteed for a minimum of 3 months duration.

Your new role

You will take over the day-to-day operation of the busy warehouse function, managing 4 direct reports and 20+ warehouse operatives. The focus will be on:

  • Operational continuity
  • Courier management
  • Leadership support

Key responsibilities include:

  • Stable and reliable warehouse performance during the interim period
  • Improved courier performance and reduced delivery issues
  • Clear communication channels with suppliers and contractors
  • Strong operational discipline and team engagement
  • Reduced escalations through proactive issue management

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics flows, and inventory controls, be a confident decision-maker with the ability to manage pressure and resolve issues quickly. You will possess excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, and be experienced in leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment. Strong knowledge of health & safety standards and compliance requirements is essential.
