They are looking for an ambitious Corporate Tax Manager looking for more than just a compliance position, someone who wants to influence, take ownership of large transactions and advisory projects and a clear route to senior leadership. This is a newly created position to work and learn directly with the corporate tax partner, share responsibility for complex advisory work, build a strong relationship with an established client base and show how the corporate tax services are delivered.
You won't be maintaining a function, you will be helping to shape and grow it.
The Role:
You will be working closely with the partner on high-value advisory projects and transaction work including: Group restructures and reorganisationsInternational tax mattersAcquisitions and disposalsGroup tax relief, capital allowancesStrategic planning for growing corporationsAdditionally, you will: Act as a trusted advisor to existing clientsDevelop your own advisory portfolioEnhance audit/tax collaborationSupport in upskilling and coaching team members as the team expandsRequirements:5+ years of experience within corporate taxATT or CTA qualifiedExperience with corporate tax advisory and complex compliance workConfident with group structures, transactions and international xohmjla taxComfortable building client relationshipsAble to communicate complex tax issues clearlyBenefits: Work for a leading independent firmClear pathway to partnerHybrid workingWork on large and complex tax projectsAward-winning team cultureThis is a great opportunity to gain the complexity and challenge of a larger firm, combined with the culture, autonomy and progression of an independent practice.
