The firm works with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, international groups and entrepreneurial clients across a range of sectors, providing excellent exposure and genuine opportunities for career progression.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently promoted or experienced Audit Senior looking to step into management responsibilities, or an existing Assistant Manager seeking a broader client portfolio and increased client-facing exposure.
Your new roleAs Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, acting as the main day-to-day contact for clients and supporting the development of junior team members.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of industriesLeading audit engagements from planning through to completionReviewing the work of Audit Seniors and traineesBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsLiaising with Partners and Managers on audit delivery and technical mattersAssisting with budgeting, scheduling and resource planningSupporting the training and development of junior team membersWorking on statutory accounts and broader business advisory assignments where requiredWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have: ACA or ACCA qualification (or be nearing completion)Strong external audit experience gained within UK accountancy practiceExperience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staffGood knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirementsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive approach and desire to develop your management capabilitiesExperience working with owner-managed businesses, SMEs and group xohmjla structures would be advantageousWhat you'll get in returnCompetitive salary and benefits packageClear progression pathway towards ManagerExposure to a varied and international client baseSupportive and collaborative working environmentOngoing professional development and technical trainingHybrid and flexible working arrangementsOpportunity to take on increasing client responsibility and develop your leadership skillsWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
