Early Years Teaching Assistant, SEND Children (1-2-1) Part-Time, Full-Time, Term-Time. Hays is a leading education recruiter offering day-to-day positions as well as full-time positions in the Wirral area with a role for Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to start in June. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be able to support an early years child by working alongside the teacher to help manage daily routines and learning activities. You may assist small groups of children as well with tasks. Generally, you will provide support to a child 1 to 1 and be able to modify challenging behaviour if needed by creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a flexible and rewarding role where your contribution makes a real difference every day.

To become a Teaching Assistant, you will need to have a Teaching Assistant Qualification Level 3. You should be confident working with children with different abilities, helping with group tasks and classroom routines.
