Your new role as Transport Supervisor on the backshift (Mon to Fri, 1400-2200) involves working with customers, drivers, and subcontractors to deliver KPIs and a high level of service. Responsibilities will include:
- Daily driver briefings and management
- Interface with customers to ensure all deliveries/requirements are met
- Supporting the team with any required training and development (including Driver CPC)
- Driver/vehicle/trailer checks to ensure the highest standards of reliability and presentation are maintained
- Customer support to solve problems and address any issues
- Ensure all H&S and other compliance processes are followed
What you will need to succeed: You will be proven in a similar role, be familiar with Fleet Compliance, and enjoy supporting the driver workforce to deliver excellent levels of service. You will be IT literate and a strong communicator, happy to take responsibility and solve problems when needed.
