Your new company is a well-established company that specialises in servicing and maintaining trailers, looking for a Trailer Workshop Technician for Portadown.
Your new role key duties are as follows:
- Follow procedure from manufacturers for warranty, service and PDI’s on trailers.
- Quality check your own work and that of colleagues.
- Use hand air and electrical tools to complete tasks.
- Work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Work to daily and monthly targets and maintain a good general ethos at work.
- Ensure housekeeping of work area is maintained.
The hours of work are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with the opportunity to work on Saturdays if required at an overtime rate.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in fitting/mechanic/electrical.
- Min Level 2 Heavy Vehicle Repair and above (Preferred).
- Present a positive image of the company, products and services offered at all times.
- Highest level of customer service.
- Adhere to franchise and company standards.
- Agree customer requirements and work to deadlines.
What we are looking for:
- Full and valid UK driving licence; Shunter licence is desirable.
- Friendly and ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a dedicated team.
- Previous experience in Customer Service or Motor Franchise would be advantageous.
- Organised and systematic approach to work and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage paperwork incorporating tablet use.
- Commitment to deliver excellent customer service by going further than what is expected.
- Flexible approach and availability to work Saturday on rotation (overtime).
