Your new company is a growing manufacturing company based in Chelmsford looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for 3–6 months. This company is going through a period of growth and needs interim support managing the Purchase/Sales & General Ledger.
Your new role offers a base salary of £14 - £16.63 per hour. The location is Chelmsford, and they are looking for this individual to be onsite 5 days per week, although flexible options can be discussed.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Have a positive work ethic with a can-do attitude, providing solutions and support.
- Personal integrity; hardworking, personable, professional, and commercially minded.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g. Pivot tables/formulas).
- Knowledge of Purchase, Sales ledger, and General Ledger.
- Attention to detail, high expectations/standards.
- Comfortable with and capable of working to deadlines.
- 2 years accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting software platforms, including MSDynamics, Xero, Excel.
- Able to take ownership and assume responsibility.
- Articulate and a confident communicator with a range of colleagues, clients, and other professionals.
- AAT Qualification ideally but can consider QBE.
