Your new company
Our client are a large not-for-profit that operate on a global scale. They are hiring a Technical Services Manager to provide technical expertise in managing M&E assets across their large operational sites in Central London.
Your new role
As Technical Services Manager, you will provide technical expertise and ensure assets are managed in line with the organisations priorities. Key duties will include:
- End-to-end asset management (M&E)
- Assurance of the asset register and condition ratings (MEP assets) & technical solutions presented by service partners & project engineers.
- Responsibility for technical authority & strategic direction including asset maintenance, replacement & repair, equipment specifications & operating requirements, and plant & equipment processes and policies.
- Strategic planning for all M&E technical services.
- Set the strategic direction (asset management strategy) and policies for the M&E service partner to create a progressive, innovation-driven and continuous improvement-mindset.
- Review and approve all proposed deviations from SFG20.
- Relevant administrative and communicative tasks (business cases, reporting, presenting and communicating with business stakeholders)
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require a strong technical background including relevant engineering qualifications and experience. You will also require:
- End-to-end asset management experience, ideally in-house across a large, complex estate
- Operational & strategic experience
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Operational knowledge of all key M&E services & maintenance regimes
- Experience in writing technical equipment specifications, processes and standards
- Experience in facilities asset management and asset management strategy
- Commercial awareness & business acumen
- Risk, compliance and incident management experience
