You will contribute to the assessment of new accounting standards and regulatory developments, helping to ensure compliance and consistency across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:Supporting the development and maintenance of accounting and regulatory policy documentation.Researching and assessing the impact of new accounting standards and regulatory changes.Preparing technical accounting papers and analysing complex accounting judgements.Supporting acquisition accounting activities and related reporting.Producing legal entity reporting and board-level reporting packs.Assisting with regulatory and statistical returns.Supporting governance, controls and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.Working with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to provide technical guidance and insight. What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience and a strong technical accounting foundation.
