Role Purpose: As a Technology Product Owner, you will act as the critical link between business product management and technical execution. Responsible for managing one or more products within designated value streams, you will ensure seamless collaboration between technology teams, vendors, and operations to drive product development and roadmap execution. Working closely with the LOB Product Manager, your primary focus will be to define the technical strategy, manage demand, oversee budget allocations, and ensure compliance with governance standards. You will also facilitate innovation and co-creation, aligning technology advancements with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the interface between the XX Practice and LOB Product Managers, ensuring technological feasibility of the product roadmap.
- Develop and execute the technology strategy, incorporating platform advancements, security requirements, and technical innovation.
- Oversee budget management, interlocking product costs with finance and pre-sales teams.
- Lead impact assessments for new demands, ensuring roadmap viability in terms of technology, cost, and delivery.
- Collaborate with architects and squad leaders to translate product features into detailed technical specifications and user stories.
- Drive in-life technology management, ensuring ongoing service efficiency, security compliance, and vendor alignment.
- Ensure product solutions meet corporate security standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST compliance.
- Prioritize backlog management, maintaining alignment between technical requirements and business objectives.
- Own vendor relationships, ensuring product roadmap alignment and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in technical product development and agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Spotify model).
- Strong understanding of telecom technologies, including 5G, IoT, AI, and edge computing.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured technical plans.
- Expertise in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration between development, operations, and finance.
- Data privacy and cybersecurity knowledge, ensuring compliance throughout product lifecycle.
- Experience in budget management, vendor coordination, and driving ROI for technology investments.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and collaboration tools.
- Relevant industry certifications (CCNA, MEF – desirable).
