Technical Accountant for a renewable energy business - Hybrid

As a leading trend setter in renewable power in the UK, this company is a household name and a sector leader. They are looking to grow their London Technical Accounting team by adding a newly created role, reporting into the Financial Controller.

Your new role

Working as the leader of the growing Technical Accounting team, this role is focused on working with the business on transactions and will spend a large body of time working with business leaders on strategic decisions surrounding deals, disposals, etc. There is a massive focus on business partnering and internal advisory, so it would be perfectly suited to professionals with a real desire to be part of a business.

Duties

  • Working with leaders across the business to provide guidance
  • Working at the forefront of transactions as opposed to back office support
  • JV and investment analysis
  • Leading best practice working alongside decision makers and CFO
  • The goal of this role is to improve group-wide processes and behaviours, becoming a champion for best practice

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a qualified accountant, from a technical background, likely Advisory in a large firm. Skill set and experience will need to be centred around transactions.
