We are working with a market-leading and progressive PE-backed firm, who are on an exciting growth strategy through acquisition, talent attraction and development. This firm works with an enviable list of fast-paced, industry-leading entrepreneurial clients, with the largest Corporate Finance teams in the North West, where you will benefit from cross-selling opportunities, and have the opportunity to develop new areas of work.
Your role would be number two to the Partner in a fast-growing team at an exciting point in the firm's journey. This is a great opportunity for you to work with high-profile clients, lead on complex transactions, and contribute to the strategic growth of the wider tax team.
- Support the M&A Partner in leading enquiries and delivering innovative tax solutions
- Assist with tax due diligence on acquisitions and disposals, working closely with the corporate finance team
- Advise on pre-transaction structuring, demergers, restructuring, and inheritance tax (IHT) matters
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, delivering sophisticated M&A tax advice while managing technical risk
- Mentoring and developing others within the team
- Identifying opportunities to implement and develop technology solutions for compliance and advisory projects
- An interest in, or already experienced in, business development and networking across the region

- Possess strong technical knowledge in M&A tax, risk management, and compliance
- Be confident in building and maintaining client relationships, including high-net-worth individuals
