Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Accounts Semi Senior to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified professional who is looking to build their technical expertise, gain exposure to a varied client portfolio, and progress towards a senior position.
Your new role
Working closely with senior team members and managers, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality accounting services while continuing to develop your professional skills.
Duties will include
- Preparing year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Preparing management accounts and bookkeeping assignments.
- Assisting with VAT returns and other compliance requirements.
- Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
- Supporting senior team members on more complex assignments.
- Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- What you'll need to succeed
- AAT qualification or be ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
- Experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing accounts for a variety of business entities.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, Quick Books, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
