We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading organisation in the hospitality sector, who are seeking a full-time Senior Payroll Specialist to join their established and high-performing team. As a key member of the People Services function, the payroll team plays a vital role in ensuring employee satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and financial accuracy across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to contribute to a well-structured, supportive, and collaborative team.

As a senior payroll specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll operations. You will work within a high-performing, large team and be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory compliance
  • Proven experience in payroll processing (typically 5+ years) within a complex organisation/ high volume environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • High levels of accuracy, integrity, and discretion when working with sensitive data
  • Be good with technology and familiar with large ERP systems, such as i-Trent, Oracle or SAP
  • Advanced Excel skills, Pivot tables/macros etc
