An established organisation operating within a secure, maintenance-led environment is seeking a qualified Electrician (Level 3) to join their on-site facilities team. This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a structured and safety-focused setting.
You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a large and varied estate. This is a hands-on position where you will ensure all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently, in line with statutory regulations and best practice.
Key duties include:
- Carrying out maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems
- Completing installations, testing, and commissioning
- Responding to service requests via CAFM systems
- Conducting inspections and quality checks, including work at height and in confined spaces
- Ensuring all work is properly recorded and logged
- Supporting the safe operation of the site, including supervising others on tasks where required
- Working alongside contractors and ensuring adherence to site procedures
- Maintaining compliance with health & safety and security standards
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Strong understanding of electrical maintenance and installations
Desirable:
- Experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar electrical role
- Legionella awareness (L8) - training can be provided
