Your New Role
As a Surfacing Supervisor, you will oversee surfacing operations on busy roads covering the South East of Scotland. You will manage squads and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will manage resources effectively and maintain quality control throughout the surfacing process. The works will be mainly carried out overnight (90%) with the normal shift starting at 19:30 and finishing at around 2:30 am, with time and a half being paid for any night shift work.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience as a surfacing supervisor/manager
- Experienced in project work – preferably on motorways
- Strong computer skills for project management and reporting
- A full driving license
- Valid SMSTS and CSCS black card
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
