Hays Education are currently seeking Supply Teachers to work within the Greater Manchester area.

Hays Education have been well established within the local area for a number of years and therefore have developed strong relationships with a number of schools based locally.Highly respected within the Education sector, Hays work exclusively with a number of schools in Greater Manchester and are currently experiencing an increase in demand for supply teachers.
Your new role
Joining Hays as a Supply Teacher means you will be working on both a short and long term basis, which can be anything from one day through to full terms and even a full academic year. On a short term basis, there will be no planning and preparation required, you will simply be responsible for managing a classroom and ensuring all pupils are on task, as well as ensuring all behaviour is appropriate. When working in a longer term assignment, you will be required to complete planning and preparation, as well as the marking and assessment of pupils work. Working as a supply teacher can offer you an attractive work life balance and you can also have the flexibility to work when you want, even on a part time basis.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing a role with Hays as a supply teacher, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have recent teaching experience. You must also be adaptable as you will be working in various schools and you will have strong behaviour management skills. You will also ideally be available to start as soon as possible.
