Hays recruitment are currently recruiting for a supply chain manager for our client based in Northfleet for a full-time, office-based permanent position.

Monday to Friday
8am till 5pm

Salary
Β£55,000 – Β£60,000 plus bonus

My client is a specialist distributor supplying the construction and mechanical & electrical sectors with fixings, support systems, containment, tools and related products across the UK. Operating from their Northfleet HQ, they are known for:

With continued growth and a global supplier base, my client is investing heavily in strengthening its supply chain and planning capability.
?? The Role: Supply Chain Manager
You will take full ownership of end-to-end supply chain planning, including:

  • Leading the monthly S&OP process
  • Building short-, medium- and long-term demand forecasts
  • Managing global suppliers and international imports
  • Overseeing inventory across multiple UK locations, including a 3PL
  • Driving continuous improvement in systems, processes and data
  • Leading a team of three (Buyer, Supply Chain Assistant, Purchasing Administrator)

This role reports into the Operations Director and plays a key part in ensuring my client delivers high availability, optimised stock levels and best-in-class supplier performance.
