The Role
- Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting month-end and year-end close activities
- Analysing financial data and providing insightful reports
- Monitoring and maintaining financial controls
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting
- Supporting audit requirements and providing relevant documentation
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and guidance
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies within the finance function
About You
- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within an Accountant or Management Accountant position
- Strong management accounts and reporting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Part-qualified, qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience candidates will be considered
