You will be joining a leading and highly respected Tier 1 civil engineering contractor with an exceptional reputation for delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued success, they are actively seeking a talented Sub Agent to join their delivery team at Sizewell C. This is a full-time permanent position based on site in Leiston.
As a Sub Agent, you will support the delivery of key work packages across the Sizewell C project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Site Agents, Project Managers and Engineering teams, you will take ownership of sections of work while helping to drive performance across the project. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of civil engineering works
- Managing engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on site
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements
- Monitoring progress against programme and identifying solutions to potential delays
- Managing quality assurance, inspections and documentation
- Assisting with cost control, forecasting and resource planning
- Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and temporary works documentation
- Coordinating site activities and maintaining effective communication across project teams
- Driving compliance with environmental and health & safety standards
- Supporting the successful delivery of project milestones and client objectives.
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven experience as a Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or Section Engineer within civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and site management processes
- Understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multidisciplinary site teams
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and a full UK driving licence.
