Your new school Ripplevale School and College is a thriving independent special school for 170 students aged 6 to 25 years old, located in the historic town of Rochester. As part of the Ripplevale family of schools, we provide a holistic, child-centred approach to meeting the needs of our students, most of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. Are you a passionate Maths educator ready to lead and innovate? Ripplevale School Rochester is seeking a dynamic Head of Maths to guide our Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 learners through an engaging, inclusive, and holistic Maths curriculum. As Head of Maths, you will:
- Lead the strategic development of the Maths department
- Deliver high-quality teaching across key stages, tailored to individual needs
- Support and mentor staff, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning
- Collaborate with leadership and therapeutic teams to provide a holistic educational experience
- Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and data reporting
