Location : Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areasHours : Monday to Friday, Full-TimeContract : TemporarySalary : £95 to £110 per day (depending on experience)SEN Teaching Assistant Required - Stratford-upon-AvonHays Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, temporary basis within mainstream primary schools across Stratford-upon-Avon . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Worker who is passionate about helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential in an inclusive school environment. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groupsAssist children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsEncourage engagement, participation and positive learning behavioursWork closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategiesHelp create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environmentSupport pupils both inside and outside the classroomWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience working with children with SEN, either in schools or a similar settingA patient, caring and proactive approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a school teamRelevant qualifications are desirable but not essentialEnhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain oneWhat Hays Can Offer YouCompetitive rates of payFull-time, Monday to Friday workOngoing support from a dedicated Hays Education consultantAccess to a wide range of temporary and long-term opportunitiesFree safeguarding and CPD trainingWeekly payIf you're looking for a rewarding SEN Teaching Assistant role within supportive mainstream schools in the Stratford-upon-Avon area, we'd love to hear from you.
