This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the management and development of the council's diverse property portfolio, ensuring the effective use and optimisation of their commercial estates.
Your new role

• Conducting property inspections and valuations.
• Managing lease renewals, rent reviews, and negotiations.
• Providing professional advice on property management and development.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Liaising with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Commercial Estate Surveyor, ideally within a local authority or public sector environment.
• Strong knowledge of property law, valuation, and estate management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS) are highly desirable.
