A well-established and growing organisation is seeking a personable and proactive HR & Office Administrator to join its team. This is a varied, fully office-based role supporting the day-to-day running of a professional office environment.
Your new role
As HR & Office Administrator, you will provide key support across both HR and office functions, ensuring efficient administration and a professional working environment.
Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, personnel files and HR documentation
Processing starter and leaver paperwork, contract amendments and DBS-related administration
Supporting onboarding activities and ensuring all documentation is compliant and audit-ready
Managing and updating HR systems, records and document libraries
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, welcoming guests and coordinating meeting room arrangements
Answering incoming calls and directing queries appropriately
Ordering office supplies, refreshments and stationery, ensuring the office remains well stocked
Coordinating office deliveries and supporting day-to-day administrative activities
Researching information and locating documentation across internal systems when required
Providing administrative support to multiple departments and helping ensure smooth office operations
Handling sensitive information with a high level of discretion and professionalism
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous administration experience, ideally with exposure to HR administration, personnel records or confidential documentation.
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence working independently and researching information when required
A flexible attitude and willingness to support a variety of office activities
